HERE’S SOME TIPS TO STAY SAFE
WHILE ON RIO GROUNDS,
COS WE WANT YOU TO HAVE FUN
AND RETURN SAFE AND SOUND.

MEDICAL

In case of injury, there’ll be first aid officers and fully trained medics located near The Pool area to help you out. Please note: the nearest hospital is one hour away from the site, so be sure to come equipped with any medication you may need over the weekend. If you suffer from a serious illness or condition such as epilepsy, diabetes or asthma, we suggest you make sure your friends are aware and carry a list of any medications/treatments you might require as well as your emergency contact details.

FIRES

Please respect that fires are not permitted on site, in the carpark or camping areas. If you discover a fire, tell your nearest member of security immediately! Fire extinguishers are located throughout the site.

SECURITY

For your safety, security staff will be patrolling the site 24 hours a day. Let them know if you need any assistance. If you have a complaint about a member of security, please make note of their ID number so we can identify them.

RESPECT FELLOW RIOPIANS

At Return to Rio, we’re all friends. That means any antisocial, discriminatory, insulting, rude or mean behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Anyone behaving badly will be evicted immediately, so the rest of us can party in peace!

SWIMMING

If you fancy a dip, head straight to The Pool, where lifeguards are stationed to keep everyone safe. Swimming in the river is strictly forbidden – for your own safety – currents are ridiculously strong and bull sharks are breeding (no thanks!).
